What is the Technical Analyzer?

The Technical Analyzer lists the technical events a symbol currently matches, grouped by indicator, so you can see at a glance which signals are active on its chart.

Which signals does the Technical Analyzer check?

Moving average positions, MACD crossovers and divergences, ADX and Aroon trend readings, Ichimoku cloud signals, money flow, new highs and lows, candlestick patterns, and Renko and Point and Figure signals.

What do the colors of the events mean?

Bullish events are shown in green and bearish events in red. Events that do not point to a direction are shown in blue.

How do I see a signal on the chart?

Click any event in the list, and the matching indicator is drawn on the chart so you can check the signal yourself.

Which symbols can I analyze?

Stocks from more than 40 exchanges, as well as forex pairs and cryptocurrencies.

Can I find other stocks with the same signal?

Yes. The events are also available as criteria in the Stock Screener, so you can find other stocks with the same signal, backtest it or set a trade alert.

How current is the analysis?

The analysis runs on the latest available data each time you open a symbol, so it reflects the current state of the chart.
