Bearish Divergence at Highs

US

A bearish divergence near the highs warns that momentum is fading even as the price pushes up. It often precedes a pullback or a top. This list shows NYSE and Nasdaq stocks within 5% of their 52-week high whose 14-day RSI shows a bearish divergence: price made a higher high while the RSI made a lower high. Penny stocks and illiquid names are excluded.

Screening formula:
exch(nyse,nasdaq) and type(stock) and price > 1 and advol(21) > 1 and rsi(14) div_bear and off_high(252) < 5 and sortby(off_high(252), asc) and show(rsi(14) as rsi, off_high(252) as below_52w_high_pct)
