An upthrust is the mirror of a spring and a typical sign of distribution in the Wyckoff method: price pokes above resistance, triggers breakout buyers and stops, then falls back into the range. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges where a bull trap has formed on the resistance lines of the SNR indicator (fractal-based support and resistance) with volume above its 21-day average. Breakout buyers caught above resistance often add to the selling. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
