Quiet, narrowing ranges often come before strong moves, because supply dries up while buyers build positions. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose 21-day price range was at least 15% tighter than the 68-day range within the last 10 days, and which have now crossed above a resistance line of the SNR indicator on at least 1.5 times average volume. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
