This screen lists stocks on European exchanges where today's or yesterday's volume was at least five times the 50-day average, ranked by how far today's volume is above its 21-day average. A sudden surge in volume means something has changed: news, earnings, an analyst call or a large investor building a position. Check the price action too: a spike on a rising price points to accumulation, on a falling price to distribution. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
