This is step 1 of a seven-step Minervini ladder in which every screen keeps all the conditions of the one before it. It lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose price is above the 200-day simple moving average while the average itself is higher than a month ago. Mark Minervini buys only stocks in a Stage 2 uptrend, and a rising 200-day line is its foundation: below a falling 200-day line a stock is in a Stage 4 decline, however cheap it looks. The next steps narrow this list to the Stage 2 Uptrend, the Trend Template, VCP setups and breakouts. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
