The Trend Template is the checklist Mark Minervini uses to keep only Stage 2 leaders on his watchlist. This screen, step 3 of the Minervini ladder, lists stocks on European exchanges that meet all eight criteria: price above the 50, 150 and 200-day moving averages; the 50-day above the 150-day and the 150-day above the 200-day; the 200-day rising for at least a month; price at least 25% above the 52-week low and within 25% of the 52-week high; and a one-year relative strength rank of 70 or more. The thresholds are set at the loose end of his ranges so the list is a watchlist, not a buy list. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
