This screen ranks profitable stocks on European exchanges by trailing twelve-month earnings per share (EPS) and shows the top 100. EPS is in the currency the company reports in and depends on the number of shares, so a high EPS often goes with a high share price; compare it with the P/E ratio rather than across companies. Look for EPS that is also growing year over year. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
