FVG

Asia

A fair value gap (FVG) is a price imbalance left when one candle moves so fast that the candles on either side of it do not overlap. This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges where today's low is above the high of two bars ago, the middle candle is a wide up bar (body above its 21-day average) on above-average volume and today closes up. The unfilled gap between the high two bars ago and today's low is the zone SMC traders watch for a pullback entry. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(tse,hkse,ses,krx,ise) and (type(stock) and ((exch(tse) and advol(21) > 100) or (exch(hkse) and advol(21) > 5) or (exch(ses) and advol(21) > 1) or (exch(krx) and advol(21) > 1000) or (exch(ise) and advol(21) > 10000))) and l > h[2] and c[1] > o[1] and body(1) > abody(1) and v[1] > avol(21) and c > o
