The Negative Volume Index (NVI) changes only on days when volume falls, on the idea that the crowd trades on busy days while informed money acts on quiet ones. That is why NVI is often called a smart money index. This screen lists stocks on European exchanges whose NVI has just crossed above its 255-day signal line, a classic sign that quiet-day buying is turning positive. Confirm with the price trend or money flow before acting. Prices are in euros, and the list covers stocks traded on Xetra, Euronext Paris, Euronext Amsterdam, Euronext Milan and the Madrid Stock Exchange with at least 0.5 million euros in average daily trading value.
