Piotroski F-Score

Canada

The Piotroski F-Score, created by Stanford professor Joseph Piotroski, awards one point for each of nine signs of improving financial health. High scorers among cheap stocks have historically beaten weak ones. This screen lists stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange with a Piotroski F-Score of 8 or 9 out of 9 and a price-to-book ratio below 3, cheapest by price-to-book first. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the list covers TSX-listed stocks with at least C$1 million in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(tsx) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 1 and piotroski_f_score >= 8 and price_book_ratio > 0 and price_book_ratio < 3 and sortby(price_book_ratio, asc) and show(piotroski_f_score as f_score, price_book_ratio as price_book)
