Overbought in Downtrend

Canada

In a downtrend, rallies are selling opportunities. Short sellers wait for a weak stock to bounce into overbought territory below a falling 200-day average before entering. This screen lists stocks on the Toronto Stock Exchange whose 14-day RSI is above 65 while the price is below a falling 200-day moving average, most overbought first. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the list covers TSX-listed stocks with at least C$1 million in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(tsx) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 1 and rsi(14) > 65 and price < sma(200) and sma(200) < sma(200)@21 and sortby(rsi(14), desc) and show(rsi(14) as rsi)
