This screen ranks profitable stocks on Asian exchanges by price-to-earnings ratio, lowest first, and shows the 100 cheapest. A low P/E can mean the market is overlooking a company, but it can also reflect a one-time gain, a cyclical earnings peak or real business risk. Check whether earnings are sustainable, and compare the P/E with the company's own history and its industry. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
