This list shows NYSE and Nasdaq stocks priced between $1 and $5 that trade more than 1 million shares a day on average, ranked by today's volume; the top 100 are shown. Stocks under $1 are excluded. Low-priced stocks with real volume are popular with active traders because a few cents is a large percentage move, but they are more volatile and more often hit by dilution and bad news.
