This screen ranks profitable stocks on Asian exchanges by trailing twelve-month earnings per share (EPS) and shows the top 100. EPS is in the currency the company reports in and depends on the number of shares, so a high EPS often goes with a high share price; compare it with the P/E ratio rather than across companies. Look for EPS that is also growing year over year. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
