Gap Down

This screen lists stocks on US OTC markets that opened more than 5% below the previous close today, biggest gaps first. Gap downs usually follow bad news released outside trading hours, such as weak earnings, a guidance cut or a downgrade. Some keep falling as holders exit, while others recover as bargain hunters step in, so watch how the price behaves after the open. OTC stocks trade outside the major exchanges and are often thinly traded penny stocks; the list covers US OTC stocks with at least $100,000 in average daily trading value.
