Financially Strong

US

Financial strength protects investors in downturns. The Altman Z-Score measures bankruptcy risk, the Piotroski F-Score measures improving fundamentals, and low debt limits the damage when business slows. This list shows NYSE and Nasdaq stocks with an Altman Z-Score above 3 (the safe zone), a Piotroski F-Score of at least 7 and a debt-to-equity ratio below 0.5. Penny stocks and illiquid names are excluded.

Screening formula:
exch(nyse,nasdaq) and type(stock) and price > 1 and advol(21) > 1 and altman_z_score > 3 and piotroski_f_score >= 7 and debt_equity_ratio >= 0 and debt_equity_ratio < 0.5 and sortby(altman_z_score, desc) and show(altman_z_score as z_score, piotroski_f_score as f_score)
