FVG

India

A fair value gap (FVG) is a price imbalance left when one candle moves so fast that the candles on either side of it do not overlap. This screen lists stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange where today's low is above the high of two bars ago, the middle candle is a wide up bar (body above its 21-day average) on above-average volume and today closes up. The unfilled gap between the high two bars ago and today's low is the zone SMC traders watch for a pullback entry. Prices are in Indian rupees, and the list covers BSE-listed stocks with at least 50 million rupees in average daily trading value.

Screening formula:
exch(bse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and l > h[2] and c[1] > o[1] and body(1) > abody(1) and v[1] > avol(21) and c > o
