Double Top

UK

A double top is an M-shaped bearish reversal: price fails twice at the same high, showing that buyers are exhausted. A break below the middle low confirms the pattern. This screen lists stocks on the London Stock Exchange where a double top pattern was identified on one of the last five bars, most actively traded first. LSE prices are quoted in pence, and the list skips thinly traded shares.

Screening formula:
exch(lse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and (double_top)@[0..4] and sortby(advol(5), desc) and show(advol(5) as turnover_5d_m)
