Broken IPOs

Asia

A broken IPO is a new listing that trades below where it started. This list shows stocks on Asian exchanges that went public within the last 12 months and now close below their first-day close, biggest losses first. Some recover once the business proves itself, while others keep falling as early investors sell, especially around lock-up expirations. Gains are measured from the first-day close, not from the IPO offer price.

Screening formula:
exch(tse,hkse,ses,krx,ise) and type(stock) and days_since_ipo >= 0 and days_since_ipo <= 365 and c < c[bars - 1] and sortby(change(bars - 1), asc) and show(days_since_ipo, change(bars - 1) as since_first_close_pct)
