Bear Flag

UK

A bear flag is a sharp drop, the flagpole, followed by a short, orderly bounce against the trend. Traders sell or short the break below the flag for a continuation of the decline. This screen lists stocks on the London Stock Exchange where a bear flag pattern was identified on one of the last five bars, most actively traded first. LSE prices are quoted in pence, and the list skips thinly traded shares.

Screening formula:
exch(lse) and type(stock) and advol(21) > 50 and (flag_bearish)@[0..4] and sortby(advol(5), desc) and show(advol(5) as turnover_5d_m)
