This screen lists stocks on Asian exchanges whose price fell to its lowest level of the past 52 weeks (252 trading days) today. A new 52-week low means every holder from the past year is at a loss, which often adds selling pressure. Momentum traders avoid these names or look for short setups, while value investors use the list to find beaten-down companies worth a closer look. Prices are in each exchange's local currency, and the list covers stocks traded in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seoul and Jakarta with at least about US$0.7 million in average daily trading value.
