This fund puts most of its money into lower-rated corporate debt, commonly known as high-yield bonds or junk bonds, which carry more risk but offer higher potential returns. Up to a quarter of the fund can be invested in dollar-denominated debt from foreign companies. Holdings may include standard corporate bonds and bank loans, with either fixed or variable interest rates.
