This fund tracks the overall U.S. investment-grade bond market by putting the vast majority of its money into the same bonds that make up its benchmark index. At least 90% of the fund's assets are held in fixed income securities that closely mirror what is in that index, helping the fund deliver returns that match it as closely as possible.
