The Inverted Head and Shoulders is a bullish reversal pattern made of three troughs: a deeper middle trough, the head, between two shallower troughs of similar depth, the shoulders. A line through the highs between the troughs forms the neckline. When the price breaks above the neckline after a downtrend, the pattern is complete, and traders often project a rise equal to the distance from the head to the neckline.
