A Bearish Flag is a continuation pattern that forms after a sharp decline, the flagpole. The price then drifts higher or sideways in a small channel that slopes against the downtrend, usually on lower volume, as sellers pause. A breakdown below the bottom of the flag completes the pattern and often resumes the decline with a move similar to the flagpole.
