A Bull Trap is a false breakout: the price rises above a resistance level, attracting breakout buyers, and then falls back below it. Support is a price level where buying has repeatedly stopped declines, and resistance is a level where selling has repeatedly stopped rallies; the screener finds these levels from recent price swings. The trapped buyers' selling can fuel a sharp decline, so a bull trap is often read as a bearish signal.
