A Heikin Ashi Long Tail Candle has a long lower shadow. Heikin Ashi candles average the open, high, low and close of each bar with the previous candle, which filters out noise and makes trends easier to see. A long lower shadow shows that the price was pushed lower during the bar but buyers brought it back up, which after a decline can be an early sign of buying pressure and a possible bottom.
