This screen finds stocks whose price has touched the upper circuit band from below. Circuit price bands, also called price limits, are the maximum percentage moves allowed in one session, set by the exchange around the previous close; the screen uses a 10% band, and trading is halted or capped at the limits. Hitting the upper limit shows extreme buying demand, often on news, and the stock may be locked at the limit with more buyers than sellers.
